Crljenak has an intense ruby red color with a distinct varietal aroma, ranging from subtle floral Mediterranean shrub notes to strong fruity scents of berries and dried plums.
Full-bodied, with pronounced yet soft tannins. A wine of pleasant intensity, very good structure, and a long and elegant finish.
Complex and powerful wine with excellent potential for storage and aging. Ideal accompaniment to veal shank with saffron risotto.
