PLAVAC MALI MAJSTOR 2019

A dark, dense purple with violet reflections. A very open, deep, and complex bouquet. Bold, powerful, and energetic primary fruit. The nose is dominated by typical Plavac Mali notes of cherries, sour cherry compote, Mediterranean spices such as rosemary and bay leaves, and ripe plum jam. Plenty of fleshy tannins of perfect quality. A masterpiece of complexity and balance. Already very promising, but will certainly improve significantly in the coming years. Truly a masterpiece. The Stina Plavac Mali Majstor is one of Croatia’s best Plavac Mali red wines, and rightly so! Cellaring potential for the next 12-15 years. Excellent with beef, lamb, and game, as well as mature cheeses.
