Šljivovica refers to a fruit brandy or rakija made from plums. Only the best and sweetest plums are used for good Slivovitz, Sliwowitz or Sljivovica. This absolute premium plum brandy bears the name of the distiller Branko, who guarantees the highest quality in this case: an old plum brandy from the distillation of four plum varieties, which has matured in oak barrels for 10 years. Old gold color with the smell of honey and ripe plums and a light note of coconut. It tastes sweet with pyatic fruit acids. Due to its finely fruity note and its subtle sweetish spiciness, good slivovitz is suitable both for drinking neat and as a mixed drink for cocktails such as a Belgrade Mule (Šljivovica, ginger ale and mint). With its 50% alcohol, the Sljivovica “Branko” is best enjoyed neat or with an ice cube.
