BUKOVSKI CUVÉE 2019

BUKOVSKI CUVÉE 2019

33.90CHF

Bukovski cuvée is made from two autochthonous Serbian varieties, Prokupac and Začinka (an old Negotin variety that Matalj Winery is bringing back to the light of day).

Bukovski was aged for 18 months in barriques and opens with deep aromas of wet earth, violets and freshly baked toast, which is then harmoniously followed by a fruity mix of currants, blackberries and blueberries. Rounded off by tones of dark chocolate and mint. The texture is dense, slowly turning into velvet, the tannins are pleasant, slightly grainy and in full harmony with the dynamic and very juicy acids. The long-lasting aftertaste is impressively extractive… and in a great contrast of sweetness (forest fruits, strawberries, fresh plums, toast, chocolate) and slightly spicy spices.
