Bukovo Monastery Filigran Merlot is an extremely drinkable, tender and varietal wine, with a luxurious body and the full flavor characteristic of the Merlot variety from which it is made. Intense ruby red, well balanced, with silky, delicate tannins and aroma of ripe forest fruit, followed by traces of vanilla and sweet spices. Wine matured 12 months in Serbian oak barrels, which gives it complexity and depth. It goes best with spicy and red meat dishes, grilled dishes, specialties venison, but is an excellent companion to tuna and mature cheeses.
