Stina Plavac mali Majstor (which translates to “master” in English), is produced from grapes grown in ideally positioned vineyards, on the southern slopes of the island Brač. Around Murvica (west of Bol), where the sea gets the most sun during maturation. Plavac Majstor, with abundance of red and black fruit aromas, lavish, but smooth tannins and well-arranged influence of wood, obtained during maturation. The result is a robust and powerful wine which is bursting with rich red fruit notes seasoned with baking spice, licorice and hints of baked earth. On the palate there is a full body, well-rounded yet firm tannins, and a well-defined structure. This delicious red can be drunk now alongside hearty red meat dishes although it will also continue to evolve in the cellar over the next decade or so. Wine of rich extract with a great potential for aging. Wine for connoisseurs.
